History & Pedagogy Mathematics(HPM)is an important research area in mathematics education.For many scholars and teachers,it is always a research hotspot to integrate the history of mathematics into mathematics teaching by comparing different versions of textbooks from the perspective of HPM.In this paper,2019 and 2007 high school mathematics textbooks A from People's Education Press are sleceted as the research objects.A comparision on the integration of the history of mathematics into the textbook is reasearched via HPM to explore the evolution of the history of mathematics.Firstly,in order to compare on the historical materials of mathematics in two editions,five dimensions are introduced based on the HPM literature and related results on comparative the textbooks,called content quantity,distribution location,information carrier,integration method and cultural connotation,respectively.Secondly,on the basis of the proposed five dimensions,the content and quantity of the historical materials in the two textbooks are counted.And the literature research method,text analysis method,statistical analysis method and comparative analysis based on the historical generation principle,the re-creation theory and the historical similarity principle are chosen to compare 2019 and 2007 high school mathematics textbooks A.Finally,a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods is used to analyze the similarities and differences in the five dimensions,and the inheritance and development of the history of mathematics in the revised textbooks are summarized.According to the comparision on the history of mathematics in the 2019 and 2007 textbooks,it is shown that the content of 2019 version is more than 2007 revision,which mesns that the new textbook pays more attention to the educational value of the history of mathematics,and is consistent with the new curriculum standard.In terms of the distribution,the adjusted historical materials focus on the cultivation of students' autonomous learning ability.The information carriers are still text,pictures and graphics,but the optimization of graphics and pictures are conducive to the cultivation of students' intuitive imagination.The changes in the way of integration have strengthened the integration of the history of mathematics materials and textbooks,which will improve the teaching design and curriculum implementation.In terms of cultural connotation,the addition and improvement of mathematics history further demonstrate the charm of mathematics culture in theory,application and aesthetics,and cultivate mathematics cultural literacy.
