It is linear and irreversible on time, and the human being had been having the interest in time areas research. It mainly focused on the study of time perception which includes three aspects: point cognition, temporal succession cognition and temporal duration cognition. However, the studies of temporal succession cognition and temporal duration cognition have always been the main area in time perception research area.It based on behavior theory during the early researchers stage of temporal succession cognition and temporal duration cognition. With the maturity of information machining and epistemology, the researches of temporal succession cognition and temporal duration cognition can be diversified. At the end of the last century, the development of EEG technology deeply explored the researches of temporal succession cognition and temporal duration cognition from brain and neural mechanisms. It concluded that the exploration of temporal succession cognition and temporal duration cognition have been rapidly developed and achieved relatively abundant results in the long-term experimentation. However, the researches of temporal succession cognition and temporal duration cognition are more aimed at normal children or adults. There was little study in special groups, especially special children at present. It horizontally compared temporal succession cognition and temporal duration cognition of hearing disability children to normal children researches is fewer.Hearing impaired children and ordinary children are similar in intelligence. The main difference is whether they have auditory channels, and whether the absence of auditory channels will affect their cognition, especially the differences in chronological and temporal cognition. The intelligence was similar in the hearing disability children and normal children. The main difference between the hearing disability children and normal children whether the absence of auditory channels, and it would affect their temporal cognition will, especially temporal succession cognition and duration cognition. It compared the researches of temporal succession cognition and duration cognition of hearing disability children and normal children, which intended to fill the gap between hearing disability children and normal children in the experimentation of temporal succession cognition and temporal duration cognition, and it analyzed the influencing factors of temporal succession cognition.(stimulus type, location),the influencing factors of temporal duration cognition(temporal-duration type). In addition,it also discusses hearing disability children's search and capture capabilities in the visual information, which providing basis data for hearing disability children's visual compensatory mechanism, even supplying some help in further improving of the visual compensation mechanism field. There were 50 hearing disability children and 54 normal children about temporal succession memory and duration estimation in the research. It conducted some results as follows:(1)It showed that the hearing disability children's temporal succession cognitive ability lags behind the normal children in the overall task of temporal succession memory. It indicated that the hearing disability children's temporal succession cognitive ability had a negative impact for absence of auditory channel information.(2)It showed that the hearing disability children's scores of temporal succession memory from high to low are Chinese characters, pictures, and numbers;and the rankings of the normal children's results are numbers,Chinese characters, and pictures in the three stimuli of the temporal succession. It concluded that the type of stimulant affects the children's temporal succession cognitive results.(3)In the temporal succession memory of the six positions, the hearing disability children had the best scores in the first and second positions, the sixth position's scores were the worst. When the position gradually moved backward, the hearing disability children's accounts gradually decrease. With the gradual decline of the six positions, the tendency of the normal children's scores was wavy.At last, the both types of subjects have significant primacy effect, have no recency effect. It shows that the position and the stimuli will affect the children's temporal succession cognitive results, and the positions' impact on the hearing disability children is greater than that of the normal children.(4)In the task of temporal duration estimation, there are significant differences the subjects' time estimation to the actual duration, and the both subjects' estimation tend to be lower, but the hearing disability children's underestimation were more.It implied that the children in primary school still cannot accurately grasp fine time.(5)It showed that the hearing disability children's relative error rate is higher than the normal children's in the results of temporal duration estimation. It implied that the hearing disability children's ability of temporal duration estimation maybe drag behind the normal children's.(6)With the temporal duration(3000ms,5000 ms,8000ms)increasing the accuracy of the hearing disability children's estimation gradually decreases, and the stability gradually decreases in the temporal duration estimation process. It showed that the hearing disability children's temporal duration estimation process would be affected by the distance of temporal duration.(7)It showed that the normal children's estimation accuracies are similar in the temporal duration estimation task of 3000 ms and 5000 ms,it appeared worse when the time length turn to 8000 ms.The normal children's stability was almost similar in the three time duration type estimations. It indicated that the distance of temporal duration would affect the normal children's temporal duration estimation, but it did not affect their stability.
