With the expansion scale of postgraduate education in China,compared with other developed countries in Europe and America,the number of graduate students in China can be called “a big country of postgraduate education”.But how to effectively improve the quality of its cultivation,become a real “strong country of postgraduate education”,is the challenge of postgraduate education in Colleges and Universities.Innovation is an inexhaustible motive for the continuous survival and development of the state and organization,graduate students as a high-level group of Higher Education,it has become the main force of creative talents in the state and enterprises.Therefore,how to effectively cultivate and stimulate the innovative behavior of graduate students,become the focus of schhol at home and abroad.This study starts with the management practice of postgraduate training,analyzes the present situation of postgraduate training.At present,the postgraduate training is generally adopted by the responsibility of the tutor.Therefore,the tutor's guiding style plays a vital role in the postgraduate's innovative behavior.Based on this,this paper draw on the theory of leadership style,refer to relevant documents at home and abroad,introducing team atmosphere as an intermediary variable,building a theoretical model between transformational tutor style,team atmosphere and innovation behavior,conduct a questionnaire survey on graduate students in Colleges and Universities,analyze the data and verify the model and hypothesis by SPSS and AMOS,aim to reveal the influencing factors of the postgraduate's innovative behavior.providing theoretical and practical guiding for the training and management of graduate students in Colleges and Universities.An in-depth study of the transformational mentoring style is carried out from four dimensions,the results show that(1)vision incentive,individualized care and intellectual stimulation have a positive impact on postgraduate innovation behavior,but the direct influence of the tutor's charm on the postgraduate's innovative behavior is not significant and it has indirect effect on the innovation behavior.(2)the four dimensions of the transformational mentoring style have a significant positive impact on the team atmosphere.(3)The four dimensions of team atmosphere,such as mentor communication,team ownership,team trust and creative support,are all positively affecting the postgraduate's innovative behavior.(4)Team atmosphere plays an intermediary role in the influence of transformational mentoring style and postgraduate innovation behavior.Finally,according to the conclusions,the corresponding management suggestions for graduate training units,graduate tutors and graduate students are put forward.
