With more and more postgraduate students being enrolled by Xi'an Conservatory of Music,the number of interdisciplinary postgraduates has also increased.So it is both meaningful in theory area and reality to enhance the training quality of postgraduate students and make them eventually compound talents that meet the needs of the society,which specifically means that figuring out the constituting structure of interdisciplinary postgraduates on campus,analyzing their situation in study process and discipline adaptation and then working out the solution about how to solve the problems in interdisciplinary postgradutes' adjustments are all of great significance.This thesis sees the artistic theory and the postgraduates who study musicology on campus as the research subject and classifies them into three parts: class discipline crossing,first class discipline crossing and two level discipline crossing.The interview method has been used to summarize the adaptability problems of interdisciplinary postgraduates in preparing for postgraduate examination or graduation thesis.In spite of this method,questionnaire surveies have also been used to add up the basic situation in five aspects in three grades,including these postgraduates' major degree of professional accreditation,studying approaches,major adaptability,professional competence,researches on academic issues and writing thesis.What's more,the statistics also compares the students and analyzes them with those non-interdisciplinary postgraduates in order to make a conclusion of major adaptation problems of interdisciplinary postgraduates in their study by data calculation.This thesis mainly includes six parts.The first part is introduction,which consists of reasons for the selection of topics,research meaning,definition of related concepts,study approaches and document generalization.The second part is based on the analysis of the source of origin of interdisciplinary students on campus of the artistic theory and musical theory.The third part is the study of interdisciplinary postgraduates' adaptability process.The forth part is the study on the concrete results of the adjustment made by interdisciplinary postgraduates.The fifth part is about the strategies for improving the interdisciplinary postgraduates' major adaptability.The last part mainly analyzes the insufficiency in the study and further view in the future.The thesis will eventually provide some rational suggestion for Xi'an Conservatory of Music in training interdisciplinary postgraduates.After analyzing theartistic theory and musicology postgraduate students' major adaptability in different stages,the paper will show several exact solutions.It puts forward the correct attitude towards learning and the clear purpose of interdisciplinary graduate students,gives their position correctly and leads them to play their own advantages and enhance the study ability in interdisciplinary learning.In addition,it also points out the importance in improving interdisciplinary postgraduate curriculum,optimizing interdisciplinary graduates' training programs,and enhancing their interdisciplinary research abilities.
