A Study On Feasibility Of Class-selection System In Peiying Middle School

Relative to the traditional administrative class system,class-selection system is a new type of teaching organizing forms,it respects students’ differences and offers students more choices.Implementing class-selection system requires a wide range of conditions,so it is necessary to conduct a feasibility analysis on case school before implementation of class-selection system.Therefore,this paper made thorough analysis in a middle school — — Peiying Middle school,which want to implement class-selection system and suggestions are presented for further implementation.First,this study utilized literature analysis to sort out the relevant research on class-selection system to determine the content of the study.Then,the theoretical analysis was conducted to infer a class-selection system feasibility analysis framework of middle schools to find out that the implementation of class-selection system requires a wide range of conditions,for example,the command is personnel training,the foundation is school resources,the core is the curriculum,the identification is teacher,the driving force is leadership support,the assistance is personnel training mechanism innovation such as tutor system,elective system,credit system.And after analysis of the conditions of running schools in Peiying Middle School it was found that the school’s current class system didn’t match with school personnel training objectives,hardware facilities are complete,curriculum system has a certain basis,teachers and students support implementation of class-selection system,teachers are adequate but need to be improved.tutor system,elective system and other new systems are needed to be founded.On the basis of the analysis,the study put forward some suggestions on the implementation of class-selection system:refining the goal of personnel training,enriching teaching resources,setting up the establish curriculum system under class-selection system,promoting teacher’s professional development,liberating the mind,utilizing network platform and so on.
