Since the beginning of the 21 st century,the form of class selection system,because it can solve the students' subjectivity cover,promote the healthy growth of students' personality potential,and more can meet the needs of humanization,has been paid more and more attention by the academic circle.At present,the " class selection system " is endowed with high expectations of educational effectiveness in China because it conforms to the trend of the new curriculum reform and the new college entrance examination in our country,as well as the country's demand for diversified talents and the stimulation of students' personality potential and the need for self-development.Therefore,Chinese schools are also actively exploring the reform.Based on the reform of teaching organization form of "class selection system" in our country,its main types include two forms: whole class system and partial class system.However,there are many problems in the process of reforming the teaching organization form,and the "class selection system" is faced with challenges in curriculum setting,students' selection of courses,teaching work and the implementation of moral education.In the face of these challenges,the purpose of this paper is to show the way forward for the " class selection system " system in China's general high schools,so that it can "go" more smoothly.This paper has four parts.The first part of the paper is about the origin of the study,the literature review of Whitehead's idea of freedom and discipline rhythm and the class selection system,the definition of the concept of class selection system,the relationship between class selection system and course selection system,credit system and classroom teaching,and the purpose and significance of the study,the research method and the innovation of the study.The second part explores the philosophical principles behind Whitehead's rhythm of freedom and discipline principle,and discusses the ideas of freedom and discipline education in The Aims of Education,Whitehead's Letters,and The Adventure of Ideas,which help to better grasp Whitehead's rhythm of freedom and discipline principle through the analysis of theoretical foundation.The third part of the paper is about the reasons why " class selection system " is expected to be highly effective in China,the two main practice models of classroom system in China,and the problems faced by " class selection system " in the process of practice in terms of curriculum setting,student selection,teaching and moral implementation.The fourth part discusses the challenges of the " class selection system" in four major areas: curriculum,student selection,teaching and learning,and moral education.The fourth part discusses the challenges of " class selection system " in the four major aspects of curriculum,student selection,teaching process and moral education implementation.Compared with the whole class system,the partial class system is less stressful to implement in practice and gives more room for schools to operate;it also retains a fixed and stable class group with freedom and discipline,which can better protect students' psychological health and make them understand respect and admiration.Therefore,the partial class system has great vitality in our education reform.In the curriculum of partial classroom,the curriculum should not only present fragmented knowledge,but also diversity and systematization of the curriculum should be taken into account.On the issue of course selection in partial class walking,students should correctly view their own interests and find out what they really desire;at the same time,they should grasp the right to select courses and not let their freedom be wasted.At the same time,teachers should grasp the rhythm of the teaching process in the teaching work of partial class walking,so as to promote students' knowledge seeking to obtain the maximum harvest.
