Study On The Management Status,problems And Countermeasures Of Rural Boarding Primary School Canteens

The management of school canteens is one of the important issues in the development of rural boarding primary schools in China.Since 2011,along with the increasing investment of educational finance,the implementation of the policy of“Dismantling teaching points and combining schools”and the accelerated pace of new rural construction and urbanization,rural boarding schools have become the norm.Canteen management is related to the students' physical and mental development,so the quality of service and management cause widespread social concern.Since the canteen management relates to the teachers and students' physical health and life security,educational finance security,operations security,workers disputes and other issues,it can have an impact on the order of schools.In this paper,the author starts with the problems which is found at work,taking A school for research object,investigating the current situation of the canteen management of rural boarding schools by means of questionnaire survey,literature research and statistical analysis,exploring and analyzing the problems existing in the management of rural boarding primary school canteens to provide a basis for exploring the problems.This paper puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures in combination with relevant theories and policies,and makes a prospect for further work,so as to provide reference for the management mode of the canteen management in rural boarding primary schools.The paper is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the value,purpose,the main content,methods and literature review of the research.This part also defines some terms.The second part analyzed the background and necessity of the school canteen management inrural boarding schools.The third part conducted a survey on the current management status of the canteen in A school.Through the survey,it was found that the main problems in running the school canteen are problems of organization,process management and safeguard measures.The primary reasons for the problems resulted from lacking money and effective leadership as well as unprofessional canteen manager and staffs.And also the service consciousness of canteen staffs is to be promoted.In the fourth part,the author puts forward some suggestions on the management of school canteens based on the reasons of the problems.The paper constructed a general idea and guiding ideology for the management of rural boarding primary school canteens.Based on the basic principle put forward in the paper,the study suggests that to consummate the management,the school need to do mass efforts in money investment,management of leadership,training and incentive mechanism.
