Mentoring is a very common way of promoting teacher's professional development.It is widely used in primary and secondary school especially it provides great help to teacher's professional development.However,in mentoring relationship,the intimate degree between master and apprentice also influences their professional development directly.Today's mentoring relationship has become formulaic and floated on the surface.It is only built to meet school's requirements and it can't really promote the new teacher's professional development.And there are many problems existing in new teacher's professional development.Therefore,it is necessary for us to consider mentoring relationship based on new teacher's professional development.And we should research the existing problems of mentoring relationship in teacher's professional development.So we can come up with better strategies to perfect mentoring relationship and promote teacher's professional development.The paper is made up of six parts.The first part is introduction.It includes the reason of choosing the topic,the purpose and meaning of the study,the process and method of the study and literature review.The second part is about the related concepts including relationship,mentoring relationship and teacher's professional development.The third part isabout the research status of mentoring relationship based on teacher's professional development.It takes C secondary school as an example and introduces the way of building,the form of operating,and the guarantee of mentoring relationship.The fourth part is about the problems of mentoring relationship existing in teacher's professional development including the limitations of instructing personally,the asynchronism of time arrangement,the differences of the way of thinking and the uncertainty of task allocation.The fifth part is about the strategies of perfecting mentoring relationship and promoting teacher's professional development.It includes building sustainable promotion system,forming good friend mechanism of promoting each other's development,establishing professional faith of self-improvement and promoting guiding ways of professional development.The sixth part is conclusion including the conclusion,the deficiencies and future directions of the study.
