By comparing the two different versions of Music education of National Curriculum to dig out the same and the difference between these two versions which were published by China and England.The latest version of National Curriculum of England was published in September 11 th 2013 on the official website of Ministry of Education and revised in 2014.The revised edition contains multiple disciplines including music education.The corresponding National Curriculum of China in Music Education was published in 2011 which has been widely used by compulsory education stage in primary and secondary schools.The first chapter introduced the National Curriculum of China with the background and development of standard of Chinese music education.Second chapter focused on the detailed information and examples of National Curriculum of England.The third chapter comparing the same points and discrepancies of the music education between China and England.In the last chapter,three basic characteristics of music education for both China and England have been summarized.The aim of this research is to aid understanding of National Curriculum of England and aware of the significance,similarity and difference and change and development trends of National Curriculum in Music Education on China and England to propel the renewal and development of Music Education in the future.
