In 2014,faced with the new national situation and international competition, Britain Ministry of Education published the new national curriculum reform document: The National Curriculum in England: Framework Document. The new national curriculum statutory document require every state-funded school must offer a curriculum which is balanced and broadly basedand which: promotes the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of pupils at the school and of society, and prepares pupils at the school for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life.This research made a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of The National Curriculum in England: Framework Document, including four parts:The first part introduced the historical context and changes(four important reforms) of the national curriculum in England, and the context, process, mechanism of the 2014 national curriculum reform policy.The second part introduced the aims and structures, 12 subjects(English, mathematics, Science, Art and Design, Citizenship, Computing, Design and Technology, Geography, History, Language, Music and Physical Education), and the principle of implementation in detail.The third part displayed the inheritances and changes of 2014 national curriculum through comparing with other national curriculum reform in the British history. The aims and structures of the curriculum have no big changes, but the numbers and names of subjects, ways of evaluation and framework of he document have some small changes.The last part introduced the good practices of British’s national curriculum reform, which provide some inspiration and reference for the China’s New Round of Basic Education Curriculum Reform.
