The teaching of graphic changes helps to cultivate students' space concept,divergent thinking way and improves their geometric reasoning ability.This knowledge point becomes more and more important in senior high school entrance examination.In recent years,it has changed greatly in difficulty,type,direction,and angle of the examination.As a result,the purpose of this study is to investigate the teaching situation of graphic changes in middle school.Through the investigation,finding that there exists some problems in teaching aims.There are six dimensions,they are teaching aims,teaching contents,teaching methods,teaching means,teaching evaluation and teaching reflection.The purpose is to see the teaching situation and its influential elements of the graphic changes and also to explore how to improve the teaching efficiency,thereby further improve the teaching level of teachers.Through the investigative analysis of mathematic teachers in junior middle school,the results are as follows:(1)Teachers can master well about the knowledge objectives and ability objectives in graphic changes teaching;(2)Teachers can master accurately about the difficult points and important points in graphic changes teaching;(3)The teaching method which teachers mainly used is explanation;(4)Teachers usually play power point as teaching means;(5)The evaluation about graphic changes teaching is generally unit test;(6)The teaching reflection is not attached importance by teachers.Last but least,several suggestions come up according to the research result,hoping to help the daily teaching work:(1)Teachers should pay attention to teaching reflection in mind;(2)Opportunities should be created to let students take part in the class of graphic changes;(3)Teachers should evaluate learning effects of graphic changes from different aspects;(4)Teachers should bare no effort to cultivate students' learning interest;(5)The school should ameliorate school-running conditions;(6)Parents should build a benign home environment.
