With the development of social economy,people's consumption capacity increase,impulse buying behaviors of secondary vocational students emerge gradually,and the increasing possibility of excessive consumption,conspicuous consumption and any bad consumption are coming with impulsive buying,even negative consequences produced.It is very necessary for secondary vocational school students to investigate the characteristics of their impulsive buying behavior and their closely related factors such as self-body image.Therefore,impulse purchase tendency scale and the multidimensional self body image questionnaire are used in this study to investigate the secondary vocational students.The questionnaire survey were conducted among 883 secondary vocational school students,and the data were analyzed to explore the relationship between impulse buying behavior and their self-body image.The results are as follows:1,Secondary vocational students general have certain impulse buying behavior tendency,male students appeared more stronger than the girls in impulse buying tendency,and they did not consider the future.Secondary vocational students in the first grade and in the third grade showed more the impulse buying tendency than those in the second grade.Secondary vocational students who live in city and are the one-child only students have more impulse buying tendency than those who live in rural and non one-child only students;2,The scores of self body image in the secondary vocational students showed they more concerned personal appearance,physical fitness,health,disease and obesity problems;the students in the first grade and the third grade got significant higher scores in many body image aspects,that suggested they concerned personal appearance,physical fitness,health,disease and obesity problems;students who live in city and are the only-child pay more attention to their image the appearance,health,disease and obesity than the rural students and the non only students;3,The impulse buying tendency of the secondary vocational students were affected by their self body image,especially in appearance,obesity,physical fitness,disease and obesity aspects,in some certain extent which indicate concerns and evaluation of self-body image predictive more impulsive their buying tendency.According to findings in the study,we proposes the countermeasures and suggestions in consumption education and the corresponding(1)to improve the understanding,consumer education into quality education,relying on mental health education;(2)to increase investments,set up related courses to provide material security;(3)to strengthen consumer education and mental health education teachers and to meet the demand of talent cultivation;(4)to strengthen the propaganda,the consumption of the construction of ecological civilization education and school combination;(5)to make concerted efforts to form a family,school and society three-in-one education,to enable students to participate in the joint education experience;(6)to work together,being trinity force with three main parts of education,family,school and society.
