A Study On The Interaction Between Individual Higher Education And Family Social Stratification

In recent years,the process of popularization of higher education in China has been accelerated,and people are paying more and more attention to the higher education of their children.At the same time,the competition for employment among college graduates is becoming increasingly fierce,and there have been some voices in the society that "it is hard to get out of the cold".Academic circles also set off a heated discussion on the relationship between higher education and social stratification.Based on the theory of human capital and the theory of socialized reproduction,this paper obtains a lot of data and real time data by means of literature review,questionnaire survey,and makes a cross-analysis of the investigation data with SPSS20.0 according to the needs of the research.So as to verify the research hypothesis of this paper.One is the difference of the influence of family social stratification on the opportunity,process and result of individual higher education,the other is the difference of the influence of higher education on individual economic income and individual social stratum mobility.The paper consists of six chapters.The first chapter clarifies the research background and significance of this paper,combs the domestic and foreign research status of the relationship between higher education and social stratification,introduces the research contents and methods of this paper,and puts forward the research framework and innovative points of this paper.The innovation of this paper is mainly from the micro level.It studies the relationship between individual higher education and social stratification,and selects some new variables,such as participating in extracurricular study at one's own expense before attending university.And the employment choice of college graduates to consider the social status of work,and so on;Because of the need of the research,the second chapter expounds the relevant theoretical basis of the interaction between social stratification and higher education,the third chapter introduces the research object of empirical research,and makes a holistic description of the family background of college graduates.Including the economic,cultural and political resources of the family background;Chapter 4th focuses on the impact of family social stratification on the process of higher education,and chapter 5th uses cross-analysis to verify the impact of higher education on social stratification.Chapter6 th concludes that the influence of different social strata on the opportunity,process and result of children's higher education is very different,and higher education can promote the individual's economic income.And through the occupation to promote the individual upward mobility of social strata.Then,from the government level,the school level,the family and the individual level,it puts forward the thinking and suggestion to promote the fair development of higher education.
