| The level of teaching ability is the key to teachers’ ability to perform teaching works,and also an important content of teachers’ professional development.research on teaching ability of beginning teachers can not only provide reference information for the construction of the teacher-team,but also conducive to the professional development of beginning teachers.Based on previous research results,the author constructs the structure of teaching ability of beginning teachers in elementary schools,including three aspects: design ability,implementation ability and feedback ability.The research selects elementary schools’ s beginning teachers in Guiyang X District as the research object,investigating their basic situation and three aspects of teaching abilities.The survey found that Guiyang X District elementary school beginning teachers’ teaching ability still has some problems,displaying specifically in the follows: First,in the aspect of teaching design ability,it’s difficult for beginning teachers to understand the students’ learning level,learning habits and personality characteristics,and to predict problems in class and propose solutions.Second,in the aspect of teaching implementation ability,the ability to stimulate students’ interest in learning ability,classroom questioning ability,and the ability to communicate and interact with the students,the ability to deal with emergency situation,etc.Third,in the aspect of teaching feedback ability,the ability to summarize the problems in the classroom,and to reflect on the ability to modify the teaching design.The development of teaching ability of beginning teachers in elementary school is influenced by many factors,including the insufficiency pre-service education,imperfect training and lack of the initiative of the teachers’ independent development.The author thinks that the teaching ability of beginning teachers remains to be further improved,the development strategies include:First,improve the pre-service education of elementary school teachers.It mainly includes three aspects: the goal of pre-service education,the optimization of preservice education course system,and the teaching methods of pre-service education.Second,perfect the entry education of beginning teachers in elementary schools.It mainly includes the following aspects:clearing the objectives of induction training,optimizing the contents of entry training,applying flexible and diverse forms of induction training,setting up appropriate evaluation system for vocational education and improving the system of mentoring and pairing.Third,strengthen the ability of the beginning teachers to develop independently.It mainly includes the formation of beginning teachers’ awareness of self development,the formulation of beginning teachers’ professional development plan,the establishment of a teacher learning community and frequent interaction with students. |
