Aesthetic Education Letters is an important book in the history of German aesthetic ideology.For the first time,Schiller put forward the word “aesthetic education” and defined its concept,few people like Schiller who value the importance of education for human cultivation in the history of ideology.Schiller point out in esthetic education,people not only have emotional impulse and form impulse,there is an impulse that has always been overlooked---Game impulse.On the one hand,in terms of human nature,emotional impulse and form impulse are not free impulses,the emotional impulse demands material satisfaction,while the form impulse demands spiritual satisfaction,only the game impulse,the aesthetic impulse,is the impulse of freedom.It can balance the sensibility and the rational impulse of human,so as to achieve the harmony of nature;On the other hand,in terms of human reality,the modern society has rapidly developed,due to the emergence of the division of labor,people in the society has become a divided person,Human development is only a certain aspect of their nature,only aesthetic education can restore the human nature of harmony and make people a complete person.This paper is divided into five parts:The introduction explains the reasons for the topic from four aspects: first,the active advocacy of aesthetic education by the state;second,the urgent call for the aesthetic education in the school;the prominence of the aesthetic education in family education;fourth,the aesthetic education of the individual is indispensable.The first chapter expounds the definition of aesthetic and aesthetic education in Schiller's aesthetic education letters,as well as the connection and difference between aesthetic education and art education,aesthetic education and moral education.Starting from the analysis of the basic theories and concepts of Schiller's aesthetic education,the basic attitude of Schiller's aesthetic education is introduced,and the realistic significance of Schiller's aesthetic education thought is highlighted.The second chapter expounds the theoretical value of Schiller aesthetic education.The main findings are as follows: first,the concept of aesthetic education needs the guidance of the aesthetic education theory.It is explained from three aspects:generalization of utilitarian thought,blindness of aesthetic thinking and marginalization of aesthetic education status.Second,the purpose of aestheticeducation needs the guidance of aesthetic education theory.It is explained from three aspects: the split of individual integrity,the lack of life aesthetics and the concern for life.Third,the implementation of aesthetic education needs the guidance of beauty and theory.From the following three aspects: heavy art,light aesthetic education,practice and experience,and the combination of aesthetic education and moral education.The third chapter expounds the contribution and the core content of aesthetic education.First,the contribution of the aesthetic education book to aesthetic education is summarized,and the three aspects of the advocacy of aesthetic education,the book of the history of the world aesthetic thought and the source of the development of modern Chinese aesthetic thought are discussed respectively.The core content of the book is elaborated from four aspects: the aesthetic concept of “people-oriented”,the aesthetic attitude of “The harmony between beauty and virtue”,the aesthetic education aim of “the complete man” and the aesthetic education method of “game” as the bridge.The fourth chapter expounds the “aesthetic education” of the enlightenment of aesthetic education in china.The enlightenment to the Concept of Aesthetic Education in China: we should adhere to the concept of “people-oriented” aesthetic education,pay attention to the cultivation of individual life consciousness and promote the harmony and mutual advance of aesthetic education and moral education.The enlightenment to the purpose of aesthetic education in China: the theoretical enlightenment of building a harmonious society,the return to the aesthetic education of the life of the people and the promotion of the individual to be a “complete person”;The enlightenment to the method of aesthetic education in China: the implementation of the aesthetic methods of free games,create a beautiful environment for aesthetic education and we should carry out aesthetic education and emphasize the practicality and experience of aesthetic education.The aesthetic education thought not only established the independent aesthetic position,but also combined the beauty and humanity,beauty and life and beauty and individual comprehensive development,it highlights the importance of human nature in the reality of individual existence and the development of a harmonious society.It has important implications for the development of aesthetic education in China.
