For more than twenty years with the implementation of china`s urban minimum living security system,the proportion of urban subsistence allowance in urban population has increased year by year.The interpersonal skills of the children of low-security families are generally lacking,which has become a major obstacle to their social integration and social adaptation.Social work is not mature in the field of social work for children with a minimum living standard and lacks a sound working model.In the past,most scholars’ interventional researches on children of families enjoying the minimum living guarantee were conducted under the guidance of social work theory using general group work methods,seldom involving metaphorical stories.Based on the characteristics of children’s physical and mental development,this study combines metaphorical story therapy with group work to explore the role of metaphor story therapy in improving the interpersonal skills of children in the household enjoying the minimum living guarantee.The team intervention and metaphorical stories intervention technology have a certain degree of conformity in terms of concept and mode.The team intervention provides a dynamic environment for intervention of metaphorical stories.Metaphorical stories can arouse group members’ interest,enhance group cohesion,and make team members show yourself really.The author selected 16 children as members of metaphor story interventional team from the household enjoying the minimum living guarantee in B Street in Lanzhou city,and the paper draw a conclusion that metaphorical stories team intervention has a positive effect on improving the interpersonal skills of children in the household enjoying the minimum living guarantee,through metaphorical story team intervention in three aspects,to cultivate the desire of the members to listen to stories,to enhance the ability of the members to talk with people,and to encourage the members to talk with people,with the analysis of records of 12 treatment activities.
