In recent years,with the rapid spread of Chinese in South Korea,Chinese as a foreign language course has also began to enter the learning subjects of Korean primary schools and kindergartens.Some primary schools and kindergartens in Gyeongsangnam-do have benefited from the overall good Chinese teaching environment in South Korea.According to the different requirements of the schools,they set up a variety of Chinese courses.However,there are great differences between public schools and private schools in the setting of Chinese curriculum,and there are still some problems in the curriculum and the school system,which is not conducive to the Chinese teaching for children.Teaching materials,teachers and students are the most important part of teaching activities.The existing textbooks of children's Chinese teaching in Korea can basically m eet the needs of children's Chinese teaching,but there are still many problems which need to be improved.Every primary school in Gyeongsangnam-do will follow certain principles when selecting teaching materials according to the characteristics of children's learning Chinese.Most of them use "Great Children's Chinese" as the main teaching materials,but the Chinese teachers will also use self-compiled textbooks in actual teaching because of the teaching needs.Although self-compiled textbooks are practical,they are not conducive to long-term teaching.When Chinese teachers carry out Chinese teaching,most of them take the relevant theories of taking Chinese as a second language as the theoretical basis,follow the principle of Chinese being as a second language teaching,adopt the teaching methods suitable for the learning characteristics of children in Gyeongsangnam-do and take improving the Chinese language proficiency of children in Gyeongsangnam-do as the main goal.In actual teaching,Chinese teachers will also encounter difficulties caused by different language barriers and cultural backgrounds,which will hinder the teaching of Chinese.In the face of these difficulties,Chinese teachers should actively respond and resolve them in a timely manner.The students of primary schools and kindergartens in Gyeongsangnam-do are in the main posit ion of Chinese teaching and they are the masters of Chinese classes.Chinese teachers should make their own leading role clear,fully reflect the main position of students in the Chinese classroom,and unify the leading role of teachers and the main position of students in classroom of Chinese teaching.The main difficult ies encountered by students in learning Chinese come from the characteristics of Chinese itself,which mainly focus on pronunciation,vocabulary,grammar,and Chinese characters.In order to reduce the difficult ies for students to learn Chinese,Chinese teachers should pay particular attent ion to the key points when performing the teaching of each module.In order to complete the learning task,the learning strategies will be adopted in the course of studying Chinese,in which there are positive and effective strategies,as well as negative errors.Chinese teachers should guide students to use the correct learning strategies and correct the wrong learning strategies.
