Sequence of number is one of the important teaching contents of the high school mathematics,although students are able to recall definition and nature of arithmetic progression and geometric progression,as well the formula of general term and summation formula,they can't solve specific problems flexibly,therefore to deepen students' understanding of sequence knowledge is helpful for memorizing formulas and flexibly using formula to solve the problem.It is need for high school students to understand the mathematical knowledge by relying on some experience background;to create the necessary problem-situation can effectively promote students' positive thinking,enhance students' ability of finding,analyzing and problem-solving,it is very important in creating problem-situation in teaching sequence of number.Firstly,the paper introduces the background and significance of the research,and organized the literature of problem-situation.In research process,the concepts of the problem,situation,and problem situation are defined,besides,the paper takes the theory of constructivism,situated cognition learning theory,Freudenthal mathematical theory as the theoretical support.Through the questionnaires carried out to current situation of problem-situation setting in sequence of number teaching,main findings are as follows: the problem-situation setting has attracted attention from teachers,but due to the lack of professional knowledge on this issue,the setting models are single and short of layers.Meanwhile,teachers are eager for guidance due to the short of materials and teaching cases.In this case,the paper aims to explore the requirement and strategy in problem-situation setting,proposing that suitability,integrity,inquiry,levels should be paid attention,and the situation can be set from the following 3 respects: Create a problem-situation of actual background,experiencing the application value of the sequence of number;set up a problem-situation of mathematical background to reveal the internal law of mathematics;create a problem-situation of cultural background and present its cultural background.According to the teaching practice,the proper problem-situation could evoke students‘interest,lead them a positive thinking,improving ability of problem-solving and optimizing class-teaching effects.
