Along with the mathematics curriculum reform unceasingly thorough,it is gradually increasing requirements in students' independent learning ability and the ability to migrate and apply knowledge.As one of the key knowledge tested in high school mathematics curriculum and college entrance examination,the research about the teaching of sequence of number and the problem-solving has always been concerned by general education workers,produc ing a lot of research results.But the way of teaching is not unchangeable and the way of studying is not fixed,the teaching and research of sequence of number should keep pace with the times so as to serve the students better.This paper has conducted questionnaires,interviews and classroom observation with the help of teachers and students,analyzing the main status of sequence of number in high school mathematics curriculum and the actual situation of students' learning.Then it has a research about the teaching of seque nce of number and the problem-solving strategies,and it can be concluded from the following two aspects:In terms of teaching,teachers should fully explore the structural features of mathematics knowledge and its essence,help students gradually establish the knowledge system of sequence of number and understand the connections among the internal knowledge of sequence of number and other knowledge so as to lay a good foundation for students to migrate and apply knowledge.then teachers should reasonably blend into the history of mathematics while teaching to stimulate students' learning enthusiasm and cultivate their interest in learning.Besides teachers should guide students to learn independently in the teaching,give students time to think and pay attention to letting students experience the generating process of knowledge.Finally teachers should guide students to carry on the summary in the process of learning and feel the connection among knowledge to improve students' ability about the overall grasp of knowledge.In the matter of the problem-solving,it can be concluded that one should understand the inside knowledge,learn to make the subject conditions work for you,know what kind of problem-solving skills could be used and what kind of problem-solving ideas have been contained,attaching great importance to the thinking process of problem-solving.Then strengthening mathematical operation ability,cultivating rigorous habits for solving problem,having problem-solving training according to the types of problem,strengthening the teaching of problem sets instead of using excessive assignments tactic.Finally one should deepen the ability to migrate and apply knowledge between sequence of number and other knowledge.
