Research On Social Work Intervention Elderly Left Behind In Rural Ereas The Problem Of Loneliness

In recent years,with the influx of rural young and middle-aged labor force into the cities,the number of left-behind elderly people in rural areas has increased significantly.The left-behind elderly who lack long-term support and support from their families are more likely to suffer from pessimism,negative emotions,loneliness,depression and other negative emotions and psychological sub-health status,which is not conducive to the physical and mental health and quality of life of left-behind elderly in rural areas.This article takes the elderly left in X village in P city of Gansu Province as the research object,uses the literature method,the questionnaire survey method,the case interview method and the observation method,and uses the “ UCLA Loneliness Self-Assessment Scale” as a measurement tool to develop the problem of loneliness of left-behind elderly in rural areas.Investigation and research,mainly to study the level of loneliness of the left-behind elderly in X village? What are the reasons why left-behind elderly people in X village have loneliness? Is social work involved in the problem of loneliness of the left-behind elderly in X villages feasible and effective?There are three issues.The study found that the degree of loneliness of left-behind elderly people in X villages was as high as 71.7% in “generally upper” and “highly lonely”.Loneliness was overall high,and there was widespread loneliness.The degree of loneliness of the left-behind elderly in X village is related to their gender,age,education level,health status and frequency of their children's communication.The specific manifestation is that the left-behind elderly females have greater loneliness than male left-behind elderly;the lower the educational level is,the more loneliness of left-behind elderly people is.High;The worse the health status,the higher the degree of loneliness of left-behind elderly people;The lower the degree of loneliness of left-behind elderly people who communicate with their children,thehigher.This paper uses the theory of ecosystem to analyze the causes of loneliness of left-behind elderly people from three aspects: personal reasons,family reasons and social reasons.On this basis,the group's social work was involved in the study of the problem of loneliness of left-behind elderly in rural areas.The group activity consisted of 8 team members and 6 group activities.The activities mainly involved affirming self,enhancing the sense of life value,and venting negative emotions.Relaxation and decompression,learning social skills,improving interpersonal skills,enhancing mutual assistance and retirement,exploring potential,cultivating interest,and enriching life.The assessment results show that the degree of loneliness of team members has been reduced,and the group activities have achieved good results.effect.
