The problem is the heart of mathematics.Question ability is more and more regarded as an important mathematical ability in mathematics curriculum, and it is also one of the core of mathematical activities.Because of the mathematics classroom in China, pay no attention to let students learn how to find and put forward the question, which now students will answer questions,it will become a problem, but will not put forward the question. In the field of mathematics education in our country, the ability of posing mathematical problems has been paid more and more attention. This paper mainly uses the method of questionnaire, documentary method and interview method, the seven grade students in Chengxiang Middle School of Yongcheng city,Henan Province,in the compulsory education junior middle school,to investigate the specific situation of the students in grade seven in the ability of mathematical problems.Survey results show:(1)students will not ask questions, they don't know where to ask;(2)the students didn't dare to ask questions, afraid of being criticized, and laughed at;(3)the students didn't want to ask questions, and didn't realize the importance of raising questions.By focusing on the cultivation of students' question ability in daily teaching, the students have a significant improvement in the ability of raising questions.Combined with the teaching case analysis, the author explores some training strategies to improve students' ability of mathematical problems in a certain extent:(1)change the concept of teaching,so that students want to ask questions;(2)solid mathematical foundation, students can ask questions;(3)to understand the question, let the students learn to question;(4)to create a relaxed classroom, let the students ask questions;(5)to make good use of encouragement and evaluation,so that students are willing to raise questions.Generally speaking, the problem is a subject worthy of further study.
