With the official release of "Chinese students' development core qualities",the key competencies have become the basis for revision of curriculum standards.It displays six accomplishments: scientific spirit,cultural heritage,learn about learning,healthy life,practice innovation,and responsibility based on the core of cultivate a fully-developed person.“Learn about Learning” plays a very important role in scientific literacy.As an important place for training people,the school has a very important role in teaching.How to infiltrate “learn about learning” in daily teaching and let students actively study and demonstrate self,which indicates that learn about learning is especially important.Taking the new curriculum idea as a guide,this thesis investigates the condition of students' biological learning.It mainly adopts the literature,text analysis,questionnaire survey,and interview methods.The target of the investigation is students in a senior high school from an ordinary high school in Suihua,Heilongjiang Province.They had finished a one-year study in biology,so they can describe their own learning condition objectively.The contents of the questionnaire survey mainly related to learning interests,learning objectives,learning attitude,learning habits and self-evaluation.Besides the questionnaire survey,some students and five biological teachers in the school were also surveyed and interviewed,so we can discuss the more in-depth reasons behind the problem.The new curriculum concept emphasizes that students should learn about learning.Students are the main body and teachers are the dominant in the class.Through the investigation,we can see that most students like to learn biology,some of them are motivated by interest,while most of them are for exams.There are also many problems exposed during the learning process: most students do not set learning goals or their goals are unclear.There are some problems in the pre-learning process,the study of learning problems,self-evaluation and so on.Addressing students' problems in learning,this article uses two instructional designs as an example to show how to guide students to “learn about learning” in biology teaching practice.In combination with the teaching practice of first-line teaching,some constructive suggestions are proposed: update educational concepts;student-centered;pay attention to the history of science,STS;make full use of the guidance case;focus on inquiry activities;diversified evaluation system.
