The GSM Network Optimization And Practice In Changzhi Unicom

With the popularity of mobile communication,the GSM system has been the maturest mobile communication system,which is used by most of operating companies in the world.How to improve the quality of network with the current available network resources is an important program which is related to the development of company and can create enormous economic profit.Thus the mobile network optimization becomes an important work for the mobile operating companies to improve their service and ensure the quality of communication.Meanwhile through network optimization for GSM they can cumulate much valuable experience,which will lay a solid foundation for 3G network optimization.The GSM network optimization means gathering parameters from the running network,analyzing data,finding out the cause that affects the quality of network,adopting measures to make network reach the best running state,thus ensuring the maximum benefit of network resources.For a mobile telecommunication operating company,its life is the quality of network,which results from the interplay of many factors.With the in-depth development of optimization work and the improvement of optimization technologies,network optimization has stretched from the current network to every session of the entire cycle including market forecasting,network planning,realization and operation of the project,etc.Based on the in-depth study on the GSM system,this thesis firstly analyzes the current situation of GSM network of Changzhi Unicom,next adopts some optimization measures for solving the current problems,then demonstrates the changes after network optimization,and finally give some advices about the future development of network.The detailed comparative analysis of the KPI index before and after the optimization shows that this optimization has solved many problems of original network,such as weak coverage,poor service etc.and achieved a remarkable effect.
