With the development of science and technology,the image display system is used to expand our horizons both in military and civil fields.The related video interfaces to image display system contain wide variety,the most common used interfaces are3G-SDI,MIPI,HDMI and VGA,etc.Among these interfaces,3G-SDI and MIPI are more advanced video interface.The 3G-SDI interface is an advanced serial video interface,it is mainly applied to the field of television broadcasting and can use one coaxial cable to transmit the high resolution video.The MIPI interface is widely used in electronic products,including cellphones,tablets,etc.It supports small size high-resolution screen driver and has a low power consumption.HDMI and VGA interfaces are the most common digital video interfaces and analog video interfaces respectively in daily life.Realizing mutual conversion of these interfaces is beneficial to combine the advantages of these video interfaces,which possesses a very significance on scientific research and practice,both on civil and military applications.This article proposes one video processing and transforming system as the core of FPGA.Conversing 3G-SDI interface to MIPI interface,HDMI interface and VGA interface has been achieved successively.In these interfaces conversion,the 3G-SDI to MIPI interface one is a more innovative application.Some image processing works,such as enhanced exposure,image compression and splice,have been realized in the process of interface conversion.The work in this subject has been finished as follows:One: The system scheme of 3G-SDI display processing unit is designed and determined,the relevant device selecting work is completed in terms of the system scheme,and the technical documentations of the related devices have been gathered.Two: According to determined designs and related technical documents,the hardware platform of 3G-SDI display processing unit has been completely founded.Some works have been designed and accomplished,such as the core-board of central processing unit based on FPGA,the schematic diagram of bottom-board in video code and decode unit and the PCB map.In the achievement of circuit,the process of the key signal of PCB routing notes and the related peripheral circuit have also been introduced.Three: The relevant logic and software program have been coded.The softwareprograms include the coding and decoding program of chip and the serial communication program.The logic programs consist of driver logic of video output interface,synchronization logic of external video input,serial communication logic,and SDRAM controlling logic,etc.Four :The relevant video image real-time processing needs has been designed and implemented.The design of video processing algorithm and logic program preparation,such as color space conversion of video signal,exposure enhancement of video image and two compression stitching of video signal and debugging work have been completed.Finally,the system has been comprehendsively tested.The system can complete the conversing process of two channel 1080 P @ 60 Hz 3G-SDI video signal and supports the output display of MIPI,HDMI and VGA interface sat the same time.The effect of display is good and the system works stably.
