| In the increasingly fierce market competition, the enterprise must make up ifferent development strategies based on internal and external environment changes. In the process of this development strategies goal for mulation and implementation, acompetent professional manager plays a crucial role.Private enterprises can be said to be the most dynamic enterprise organization, and play a very important role in the development of global economic. Over the past 30 years, China’s economic not only has been taken-off, but also experienced a disruptive change. Private enterprise has become China economy’s new leading force and growing point. In accordance with the theory of enterprise life cycle, the development of private enterprises inevitably experience start-up period, growth period, mature period, decline phase. However, how to choose the right time to hire professional managers is very difficult for the actual controller of the private enterprises, because if the professional managers come in wrong time it will make things worse and will damage corporate foundation that the decision must be made carefully.At present, the studies from aboard and domestic mainly focus on how to choose professional managers, seldom involved in the time chosen. Even if it exists, the studies are only in qualitative analysis phase, and lack empirical analysis of the interaction of different factors which makes it difficult for the private enterprises to introduce the professional managers.In that course, to build a set of demand scoring model of when to introduce the professional managers which can be suitable for the private enterprise decision makers is very significant.Based on the above research background, the author first study on the theory of enterprise life cycle, theory of professional managers, corporate governance and related basic theory, then with the help of relevant literature, the author researches developed countries’ enterprise characteristics and commons of how to introduce professional managers. Based on the research of the business cycle theory, analysis of private enterprises operating target, management of professional managers demand analysis in different life cycle, the following through to the different life cycle of private enterprises on the basis of analysis of the strategic performance evaluation index to construct the introduction of professional managers timing requirements grading model, by the changsha area equipment manufacturing of private enterprises to carry out the questionnaire empirical scoring reliability and validity of the model.This article is divided into five parts, the first part is the introduction part, mainly introduces the research background, research in this paperSignificance and research methods, research framework, and innovation. The second part is the related basic theory and concept definition section, introduced the enterprise life cycle theory, the professional managers, strategic performance evaluation theory, principal-agent theory and on the basis of these theories elaborated the definition of professional managers, strategic performance evaluation. The third part firstly introduces the development course and current situation of private enterprises, in view of the enterprise life cycle analysis of the different stages of the demand for professional managers and enterprise strategy performance evaluation analysis. The fourth part is through to the enterprise strategy performance evaluation indicators were selected, the final design introduction of professional managers based on enterprise life cycle timing requirements of scoring system. The fifth part is the empirical research part, through the selection of sample data and index standardized treatment, using the questionnaire survey to make an empirical analysis of the equipment manufacturing industry. Empirical study results show that in the different life cycle of the equipment manufacturing industry, the sensitivity of the correspond to different strategic performance evaluation index, the index weight and grading model of different cycle empirical enterprise basic relative sensitivity should score the reliability and validity of the model obtained. The fifth part summarizes the research conclusion, and puts forward the quantitative decision managers introduce the idea of focusing on the direction of the time, and the future research direction was put forward.
