As the problems such as shortage of natural resources or damage of environment are becoming more and more serious, realizing sustainable development and circular economy has become an economic development trend. At present, the problem how to deal with electronic products reverse logistics has attracted more and more attention from public. Especially electronic product recovery rate is lower, many electronic products are harder to get effective recycling. How to improve the recovery rate and do a good job of electronic products reverse logistics are the urgent problems to solve. Our country has promulgated many laws and regulations to set standard for electronic product reverse logistics, and put emphasis on product recovery rate rising to 70%. As a country of producing much electronic products, we should establish electronic products reverse logistics network with higher product recovery rate in our country.Base on the above background and a lot of research literature about reverse logistics from home and broad, this paper presents the research of electronic product reverse logistics designing operated by third party supplier considering product recovery rate. The research can resolve the issue of low electronic product recovery rate.In preliminary study, this paper mainly does the following work. Firstly, analyze the reverse logistics network's research theoretical foundation, including researching relevant literature, the basic concept of reverse logistics, the implementation of the theoretical basis and practical significance, etc. Secondly, research the particular type of electronic product's reverse logistics network, including influencing factors of product recovery rate, characteristics of reverse logistics, and through comparing three operation model of reverse logistics network, the paper concludes reverse logistics outsourcing model, that is, by the third party logistics providers to led electronic products reverse logistics mode is the best model to be promoted.In based on the above analysis, the paper research electronic product reverse logistics network designing by third party supplier considering high product recovery rate from the perspective of product recovery conveniences. Then the paper uses an integer linear programming model to represent the specific method of selecting reverse logistics network designing. Through counting and analyzing the numerical example given by paper, the integer linear programming model has verified correctness and validity.
