With the globalization of economy and the rapid development of enterprises, talent has become the core competitiveness of enterprises; human resources(shorted as HR) has turn to be the key of enterprise management, and the performance ap praisal will be the most important and tough work of HR management. To meet the demands the rapid development of enterprises, how to carry out HR performance appraisal scientifically and mobilize the enthusiasm and initiative of the staff maximally becomes a common topic and inevitable choice concerned by more and more researchers and practitioners.Guided by the Key Performance Indicator Theory and Balance Scorecard Theory and based on the domestic and foreign research of performance management, this research analyzes the performance appraisal of marketing personnel from Zoomlion Crawler Crane Department who has developed many years in Machinery Industry. It introduces the whole procedure of the formation of ma rketing personnel's peformance appraisal in details.This paper is divided into five parts. The first chapter expounds the background and significance of the thesis research, summarizes the relevant theories and domestic & foreign researches of performance appraisal and further introduces the methods and tools used for performance appraisal; the second chapter analyzes the current situation of Zoomlion marketing personnel's performance assessment and summarizes the main issue and shortage in current performance system; the third chapter studies comprehensively the marketing personnel with the method of KPI- Key Performance indicator and balance scorecard, and describes the operation in details from the technical level; the fourth chapter puts forward the safeguard measure of the implementation of this performance evacuation; the fifth chapter is the conclusion and prospect of the paper.Through the analysis of the current performance evaluation of marketing staff in ZOOMLION crawler crane department, the paper summarizes a set of marketing personnel performance appraisal method suitable for the development of enterprises which can fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the marketing staff and advance the sales performance rapidly. As the direct creator and realizes of the enterprise economic benefit, marketi ng personnel has played a more and more important role in enterprises. The conclusion of this paper has positive reference of modifying the current performance assessment method and setting up performance appraisal system for other enterprises in same and different industry.
