In the recent years, notebook computer products upgrade faster than ever and new product development lifecycle is shorten with the rapid development of IT technology, manufacturing and consumer demand changing. Meanwhile profit of notebook products becomes thinner due to the severe competition in the market. In order to achieve better operating cost and product margin, Number of enterprises adjusted their operation strategies to tighten partnership on the cooperation with suppliers(such as outsourcing) to fully leverage the advantages of suppliers.However, because of the quality excursions right after new products launch, the advantages are not demonstrated as what enterprises expected due to relevant processes or procedures were not changed relatively, instead, amount of manpower, material and financial resources are wasted to contain these quality issues.This article targets on the study of how to improve the process quality of notebook new products launch under the new situation through case study of the computer industry leading company D. Deep dive the root cause of the problems through elaborating and analysis of the current processes and relevant supporting resources of new product introduction, and then design the improvement proposals, finally, to testify and verify the feasibility and effectiveness through the implementation of new proposals.
