Milk-run, as a new sort of logistics management model, has been adopted by many domestic vehicle manufacturers gradually. Milk-run is a logistics process, which is that the vehicle manufacturer entrusts a third logistics company to take parts from the suppliers according to the order plan and deliver pats to the vehicle manufacturer in planned time. With the development of automobile logistics enterprisers, the Milk-run business is increasing and logistic network is expanding. But, the distribution area of parts suppliers is wide, and one auto manufacturer has hundreds of suppliers. In a small region, there are dozens of part suppliers for one manufacturer. Therefore, for the logistics companies, how to optimize the regional network under the Milk-run model as the volume changes in future, allocate resources reasonably, and reduce the logistics cost is an urgent-solved problem. The thesis is to study the logistics company how to optimize the regional network under the Milk-run model as the volume changes in three aspects. Firstly, to analyze how to select the site of Milk-run region distribution center, by using the centroid method to construct the site selection model and design the algorithm under the volume changes, and choose the site selection scheme of Milk-run region distribution center after many times iterative computation. Secondly, on the basis of the site selection of region distribution center, to use the mileage-saving method to study the optimization of Milk-run fetching parts routes and select the optimization scheme of fetching pats routes. Thirdly, to use the actual case from one domestic logistics company to test and check the site selection scheme and the routes optimization scheme, and the results is satisfactory which show the thesis study contents are effective and scientific.
