Current Situation And Supervision Strategy Research Of Food Safety In Rural Town

Since food is the necessity of human life, food safety is crucial to the citizen’s health and well-being as well as the national prosperity. China’s reform and opening up not only accelerates the urbanization process and activates the market economy, but also promotes the integration of agricultural and food processing industry. Hense, the current situation and surpervision strategy research of food safety in rural town becomes more and more important. On the other hand, due to the influence of long-term historical factors, the current situation and supervision strategy research of food safety in China’s rural town is full with particularity and complexity.Taking Sanyantang Town,Yuanjiang City of Hunan Province as an example, its supervision situation and problems of food safety is analyzed through investigating 5 aspects including its supervision team, kindergarten school canteens, catering industry and rural collective meal, food companies and small workshops,agricultural products while referencing relative theories of food safety supervision. At last, the corresponding suggestions are provided as follow:1 Improve the quality of the employees.2 Strengthen the resident’s awareness of the food safety as well as the social supervision.3 Optimize the food safety regulatory system of the villages and towns, and strengthen the construction of the security supervision team.4 Strengthen the supervisors’s consciousness of responsibility and set up the effective accountability mechanism.5 Optimize the system of laws and regulations and fill the gap in the food safety supervision.
