A Research On The Establishment And Application Of Quality Evaluation Index System Of Hotel Industry Asset-Light Operating Model

With the development of globalization,the tourism comes into a prosperous period.Accordingly,as a significant supporting part of tourism industry,the hotel industry also expands its scale and keeps a high growing speed.Chinese hotel industry also experienced the golden period,but the hotel industry especially the high star-level hotels are facing the tough time under the policy environment and fierce business competition.How to keep a way of sustainable development has already been the most important problem.Based on the current conditions,the asset-light operating model began to take place of the traditional operating model to be the new weapon in the market competition.Learning the experiences of asset-light operating model from the western experienced hotel group has been the new subject of Chinese hotel enterprises,the NCT Group took the leading position in this aspect.This paper first collects related concept of asset-light and asset-light operating model,analyzes the evaluation index system in common use nowadays.Then arrange the theory from two aspects of asset-light operating model and its profit characteristics,also establishes the evaluation index system of asset-light operating model.Then analyzes the current situation of domestic and overseas hotel industry asset-light operating model.This paper takes the NCT Group as the studying case,it introduces elementary background and characteristics the NCT Group,then analyses the reason of asset-light operating model from the macro level and micro level,the comes to the conclusion that asset-light operating is the only way which must be passed during the sustainable developing for the NCT Group.Secondly,this paper analyses the current operating model of NCT Group,then combine the relevant literature theory and the characteristic of hotel industry to evaluate the current operating model of NCT Group based on the AHP-fuzzy evaluation index system and find out the existing problems.On this basis,this paper uses the evaluation index system to evaluate the monomer hotel of NCT Group and give basis to the selection of the way of the asset-light operating model of the target monomer hotels.At the last,this paper analyses the problems and comes out some optimization designs from some relevant dimensions,hope that would help with NCT group’s future development.The innovation of this paper mainly reflects in these aspects: first,there is no study in the area of hotel industry asset-light operating,this paper takes famous Chinese hotel group NCT group as an example that the result is close to the situation of our country;second,this paper combine literature,relevant theory and the characteristic of hotel industry asset-light operating together to build the unique quality evaluation index system and figure out the problems exist.It has a practical significance in solving the management dilemma of hotel industry;third,the quality evaluation index system established in this paper can not only evaluates the whole hotel groups’ situation but also can evaluate a single hotel’s performance.It can even offer the basis of the choice of asset-light operating model on a target hotel.
