In recent years, with the accelerating process of economic globalization, international trade has achieved rapid development in our country. The food, especially animal derived food, has become a major export of China's export trade. According to customs statistics, the export volume of animal derived food in China has increased from $ 7.527 billion in 2009 to $ 15.241 billion in 2014,export trade volume doubled, the average annual growth rate reached 16.05%.But in the past two years, the growth rate has slowed down significantly, while the food export of animal origin has been encountering more and more label barriers. Therefore, the relationship between the label barriers and the export of animal derived food has become the research object of this paper. This paper constructs a comprehensive evaluation system of animal derived food export competitiveness according to the status quo of China's animal source food and the development of label barriers. Then calculate the export competitiveness of animal derived food in China with the statistical data of 1995-2014. On this basis, through the PLS path model, analyze the impact of label barriers on the competitiveness of China's animal derived food exports. This dissertation mainly includes the following four parts:The first part is the analysis of the status quo of the export trade of animal origin and the development of the technical barriers to trade. Analyze and point out, the United States, Japan, South Korea and other developed countries are the main export market of food of animal derived food in China, are also the main sources of label barriers. The second part is to calculate the export competitiveness of China's animal derived food through the establishment of a comprehensive evaluation system of competitiveness on China's animal derived food. Based on the relevant statisticaldata of 1995-2014, through the factor analysis, the evaluation index of the export competitiveness of animal derived food is classified into two main factors, which are export benefit and export capacity. The third part is the empirical study of the impact on the barriers to the export of China's animal derived food. Through the PLS path model, the export benefit, the export ability and the label barriers are all set to the latent variable. It is concluded that the barriers have negative effect on the export benefit of animal derived food, and has a positive effect on the export capacity of animal derived food, based on the index data of 20 importing countries during 2005-2014.The fourth part is the countermeasures and suggestions to improve the competitiveness of animal derived food export against the label barriers. At the government level, improve the animal source food labeling standards regulations system and establish labeling barriers warning mechanism of animal origin food.At the enterprise level, strengthen the animal source food export label management awareness, focus on animal derived food labels SPS notification dynamics and promote the production standardization and export diversification of animal derived food actively.
