A Study Of Food Logistics Operation Pattern And Management Strategy In Bonded Port Area

Since the reform and opening up, the food industry has improved and developed gradually, and takes up a large proportion in the national economy. At this stage, the concept of food consumption turned from the traditional diversified unity to modern, efficient, and international pattern. With the vigorous development of the global economy and trade, multinational companies keep growing, the food industry transcend national boundaries gradually, and the international cooperation and communication becomes more urgent. Bonded Port is established as a special economic regulatory region in our country which enjoys preferential policy. It is connecting overseas markets and the domestic market as a bridge. The bonded port area has become a new growth point of China's economy, the port functional and regional economic influence continues improving. The development of food logistics in Bonded Port not only helps our people enrich the kinds of food, but also stimulates economic development of the national food industry.This study firstly analyzes the present situation of the bonded port area in our country from two aspects : development course and main characteristics.It analyzes the development direction of the bonded port area through the introduction of the main functions of the bonded port area and layout distribution.Secondly, this study discusses the advantage of food logistics in the bonded port area through analyzing the characteristics and main existing problems of food logistics.The advantages are :location advantage, facilities advantage, and policy advantage. This study is carried out based on analyzing the present development situation of bonded port area logistics and food logistics. Based on the Dongjiang bonded port area in Tianjin, the study discusses and analyzes the operation pattern to carry out the food logistics in the bonded area, verifies its feasibility and operability, and then guides the actual decision-making work, improves the management level of food logistics operation in the bonded area, reduces the decision risk effectively, and makes sure to develop food logistics enterprises in the bonded area operate safely, efficiently, conveniently and benefit maximization. At the same time,the study uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) to construct performance evaluation index system of food logistics in the bonded port area, identify the key factors affecting the operation of the food logistics in bonded port area, to provide the reference for improving the bonded port area food operation.Finally,it analysis of the advantages weaknesses, opportunities,and threats of food logistics in Dongjiang Bonded Port,and provide recommendations for its future development.
