Lean production and its main characteristics are JIT and automation, it stressed by the idea of continuous improvement, to eliminate all unnecessary waste, finally achieve the aim of reducing the production cost. It has the big difference with the mass production mode. Mainly in the logistics JIT's starting point and WIP effectively controlling. Lean production management thinking more in line with the development trend of the modern market, Production organization and management technology of it, closely around the needs of customers. Specific performance for the production plan according to the customer's demands, focus on reduce WIP and production cost.DF technology center model shop was founded in 2012 and produced compressor's prototype at the same year. The target of model shop is follow customer's request and supply new model product and lab test date as soon as possible, reduce the delivery time and increase the competency of DF company. Model shop is a typical job-shop production method, information updated fast, crude production, production management is loosen, that bring waste. The paper's key point is to apply the lean production ideas and tools in job-shop production method of model shop.The Paper integrate with company's reality, according to lean production ideas, point out problems of shop floor layout, organization, new product development process, production operation, scene management and quality control. By means of lean production ideas and tools, the model shop will use the pulled theory, parallel project, leveling production, 6S, total quality management, continuous improvement. The Paper investigates lean production of the model shop of technology center. Apply lean production ideas and made tremendous gains.
