The Application Of Lean Production In Zhuzhou Gear Co,Ltd.

It faces enormous change for the management mode of Production system in the manufacturing industry with the rapid development of scientific technology, especially of information technology,the formation of competitive buyer's market,individuation tendency of consumer conception,establishment of global market and trade system,thriving of knowledge economics and the rising attention to continual development and environmental protection,Being a typical management method of small-batch and lot-variety production,lean manufacturing meets the practical requirements of market change. Production control,as one typical characteristic and the important component of foundation of lean manufacturing,is a crucial technique to realize production planning and operative management. Therefore,studying production control holds the balance for success in lean manufacturing.In this dissertation, the research of Lean Production has been studied with the practical case of Zhuzhou Gear co., Ltd(ZG). And the thesis mainly focus on Cell Production, Management of KanBan and Continuous Improvement which had already been adopted and applied in ZG. Through the compare between the theory and practical operation, and theoretic analysis to the company, the thesis have concluded the key point in the control of ZG's lean Production process. The aspect of production capacity,production organization,purchasing and logistics,and manufacturing process control are analyzed by using the principles and methods of Lean Production. Meanwhile,the thesis establishes responding improving measures for the problems of production management in accordance with the principle of eliminating all wastes and JIT. In the end of this dissertation, the conclusions and the further research plan are provided.
