Practice Of ISO9000 System Standards In Company B

Company B is the STF electric Group's wholly-owned subsidiary which is inherited all the United Kingdom technology and experiences. Products mainly involve the power running of railway and subway. The production of railway and subway belongs to high risk industry, and excellent product quality is the guarantee of business survival. The guarantee of product quality is the perfect quality management system. ISO9000 quality management standards: 2008 edition which is issued by international standard organization can improve company management consciousness and skills, also improve the quality of the products. One advantage of ISO9000 is no special requirement to company size or kinds of products.This paper aims to discuss how to effectively run quality management system,improve their competitiveness since the company started to running the ISO quality management system. This paper firstly introduces the development of ISO9000 quality system and the mainly content, in order to describe the situation of ISO9000 quality management system establishment and running in company B. Secondly,taking company B received and completed order from foreign client as an example.The paper includes the raw materials procurement, production quality control process,logistics, packaging, shipping, customer complaint handling and continuous improvement in order to prove specific significance and advantages of implementing ISO9000. Current situation of establishment and operation of the quality management system in company B has highly applicability for the small and medium-sized mechanical enterprises. It is our hope that this paper can bring reference value to related enterprises staff.
