At present, in face of the growing trend of customized logistics services demand, many logistics enterprises not only provide customers with mass service, but also begin trying to meet the demand of customized service and considering a change in the logistics service mode at the same time. Namely, they try to provide the mass customization logistics services(MCLS) instead of the mass logistics services. In the environment of the MCLS, in order to meet individualized service requirements of customers and achieve the capabilities to offer large-scale service, a lot of logistics enterprises form a logistics service supply chain(LSSC) by means of union and integration. In face of multiple functional logistics service providers(FLSPs), how to carry out time scheduling process for logistics service integrator(LSI) has become an important academic topic. However, researches on time scheduling problem of supply chain are mainly focused on product supply chain, and those on service supply chain, especially on logistics service supply chain with mass customized mode, are still insufficient. Therefore, set the mass customized mode as research background, this essay built some time scheduling models of logistics service supply chain and further explored this field.This essay first analyzed the research status of related theory on logistics service supply chain, and then reviewed the research achievement on supply chain scheduling, MC, order insertion scheduling and customer order decoupling point(CODP). I found some research deficiencies based on summary of existing literatures. After setting out our research bases, we carried out our model study which include four parts:(1) Research on a LSSC time scheduling model based on the CODP. The effects of some relevant parameters on the optimal CODP and on the LSSC scheduling performance are discussed, such as time delay coefficient of customer order completion, the customer order difference endurance coefficient of LSI.(2) Research on a scheduling model of LSSC based on the time windows of the FLSP's operation and customer requirement. In the model, provider's normal operation time was changed to a time window from a constant. Based on these two time windows, the effects of related parameters on the time scheduling performance were explored.(3) Research on an order insertion scheduling model of LSSC considering capacity and time factors. In this model, influence of time and capacity factors on order insertion scheduling results was discussed.(4) Research on effects of supply- demand environment on LSSC time scheduling based on case study. Five Chinese logistics company were chosen to explore the relationship between supply- demand environment and time scheduling performance. In the end of this essay, research findings and future research directions were presented.
