Enterprise IT Service Management Based On IT Infrastructure Library

As global informationization grows rapidly, business activities, socialization and science research have formed their own value chain based on Information Technology. Therefore, business operation becomes more and more dependent on Information Technology. Ormation Technology is now an essential part of business operations because of threats from new technologies, changeable business modules and raising competition in the market. However, compared with foreign information technology, IT in China needs more theoretical research to improve. The following arguments are the most concerned problems by domestic IT managers: How to quickly response demands from operational department? How to utilize diverse Information Technology on business operations? How to quantify values and cost? This essay will discuss the above arguments.This essay studies IT operation management from both theoretical analysis and empirical analysis. On one hand, IT Service Management is discussed on theory side, including analyzing foreign and domestic methodologies and standards such as ITIL, ISO/IEC 20000, ISO/IEC 27001 and COBIT. And there is a further study based on ITIL framework. On the other hand, there is a case study of IT operation centre of a domestic share-holding bank. Referring to project management method, this essay establishs an implementation framework and breakdown the works into stages to control, such as project initiation, interview and assessment, process design and deployment, in addition, for assuring the framework could be implemented more smoothly and effiecitively, the essay introduces several model to support the framework. Last but not least, take the implementation model on the bank’s IT operation centre and build a managerment system of IT operation management.
