Research On The Risk Control Of Software Outsourcing Enterprise

Software outsourcing is growing exponentially in recent years, especially for China's software contractors, offshore software outsourcing is developing dramatically. Meanwhile with various changes of domestic and international factors,its risks is gradually increasing accordingly. As for those enterprises which intend to avoid risks or lack of risk awareness, it may cause unexpected losses.For the characteristics of software outsourcing industry, this paper has analyzed the corresponding risk control with the studies range from internal software project management to the external business communication. Internally, this paper has clearly identified and analyzed the risks of management software project, especially investigated and discussed the existing risks and proposed the corresponding solutions for the needs change, progress, technology, quality, tools, human resources and other risks of the project. It has also drew a refined conclusion of the coping strategies for the risk responses of software project management.Furthermore, this paper has studied the potential risks of the entire process of external software outsourcing service. The research mainly focused on the cooperation and communication process, the contract-making process, and the risks arising from the exchange rate changes in the international financial markets. In addition, for the potential losses caused by the exchange rate risk, this paper has also conducted an insightful analysis of the corresponding financial instruments which can effectively avoid the exchange rate risks. Outsourcing companies can take advantage of these instruments to effectively reduce the losses resulted from exchange rate fluctuation.Finally, due to the rapid economic and political development, this paper has further discussed the overall risks which China's software outsourcing industry is now facing. It holds that it is necessary to take actions on the cost reduction and enterprise transformation for domestic outsourcing enterprises, promote comprehensive ability of the solutions instead of purely develop software, as well as expand the domestic market development. It is the opportunity and challenge which China's software outsourcing enterprises must face today to fight against the industry risks.
