Research On The Development Mode Of Shipping Agency Enterprises In China Under The E-business Environment

Against the backdrop of slack shipping industry, the domestic shipping agency enterprises are confronted with a raft of issues, such as decreasing core competitiveness, increasing costs, sluggish business, and particularly the poor service quality and low service efficiency. Therefore, under the e-business environment, it is urgent to research and resolve from the perspectives of the strategic direction and operation strategies of enterprise development.First, concerning the actual situation of the shipping agency industry in China, this dissertation offers a comprehensive analysis of the external macro-environment, task environment, business process and organization, expounding on the current status and major existing issues in shipping agency industry, obtaining the direction of strategic development of enterprises through SWOT analysis and entailing the unavoidable transformation and upgrading in the operation strategy under the e-business environment; second, the comparative analysis of the typical operation strategies of shipping agency enterprises and the analysis and summary of the key control factors reveal the basic thoughts for optimizing the operation strategies of shipping agency enterprises, which boils down to the integration of resources, multi-business diversification, high efficiency of services and intelligent platform. However, the application of e-business plays a vital role in this regard. At last, guided by the aforesaid improvement thoughts, this dissertation aims at setting up an operation strategy optimization pattern that takes the e-business platform as the major model and testifying to the implementation effect of operation strategy and its transformation and upgrading in the Chinese shipping agency enterprises under the e-business environment by introducing the conversion of A Shipping Agency Company from the third-party logistics to the fourth-party logistics referring to the development of information center platform.On the basis of the current development status of Chinese shipping agency enterprises under the e-business environment, this dissertation proposes the strategy of transformation and upgrading in the Chinese shipping agency enterprises, which is of great realistic significance and reference values to the increase in enterprise competitiveness.
