The Differences And Coordinated Development Of Urbanization In Northeast China

This paper takes 34 prefecture level cities in Northeast China as the research object, from five aspects of population, economy, society, city construction, and living environment, the measure index system of urbanization development level in Northeast China was built, then based on section analysis, panel data analysis and spatial analysis method, analysing the spatial and temporal evolution characteristics of the spatial difference of the urbanization development level in the northeast region of China since 2004 in 5 periods.The results show that:(1)The level of economic development is the main factor that influences the development of urbanization in Northeast China,followed by the population factors, infrastructure and social living standards,and the least impact on the level of urbanization is the difference of living environment;(2)According to the data of 2013,analysing the status of urbanization development level of the Northeast, we can see that the Northeast regional difference of the urbanization development is quite obvious, according to the score in the northeast of China, we divide into four levels-the core of Development Zone, radiation driven area, low level of development zone and the development of backward areas, and the use of Arcgis for visual representation,we can see that the city development level shows the North South high-low trend in space;(3)By 2004-2013 stage of data analysis of the evolution of urbanization development level can be obtained, the northeast area urbanization development level of the gap is fluctuant decreasing trend, in which fluctuations in the magnitude of the area distribution in radiation driven by region and a low level of development area, and core development areas and backward areas doesn't change. Based on the research results, the economic development level, geographic conditions, natural endowment conditions and policy conditions factors are main factors resulting in the northeast area of urban spatial differences; then according to the analysis results and the actual situation of northeast area development proposed to reduce regional differences and achieve coordinated development of countermeasures.
