A Study On Temporal And Spatial Evolution Of Healthy Urbanization And Development Strategy In Central Plains Economic Region

Promoting the Central Plains Economic Region healthy and stable development of urbanization is an important goal of the Central Plains Economic Region planning. By the end of 2012, Chinese urbanization rate was 52.57%, increasing 1.3%over the previous year, while the urbanization rate of the Central Plains Economic Region was 40.12%, up 1.76 percentage points from the previous year. The urbanization rate of the Central Plains Economic Region is far behind than Chinese urbanization rate.Therefore, the Central Plains Economic Region needs to accelerate the pace of urbanization, but must promote positively, healthily and steadily.Based on the connotation definition of healthy urbanization, the paper establishes the healthy urbanization comprehensive evaluation index system of the Central Plains Economic Region, regards Central Plains Economic Region 30 provincial cities as the research object, and uses the entropy method analyzing the temporal and spatial evolution characteristics of the Central Plains Economic Region healthy urbanization from 2003 to 2012. On this basis, the paper builds a support system of healthy urbanization. By the coordinated development degree of the healthy urbanization comprehensive level and healthy urbanization support system analyzes the coordinated development situation of the healthy urbanization in Central Plains Economic Region. And then the paper analyzes the existing problems of each type area and proposes appropriate developing strategies. The results are as follows.(1) The comprehensive level of healthy urbanization in Central Plains Economic Region continuously improves year by year, of which the variability of social urbanization, economic urbanization and spatial urbanization is relatively large. It is the main characteristic of the process of healthy urbanization in Central Plains Economic Region, while the impact of the population urbanization, ecological environment, urban and rural coordinating on the healthy urbanization is relatively small. In space, the healthy urbanization comprehensive level in the northwest of Central Plains Economic Region is higher, while the healthy urbanization comprehensive level in the southeast of Central Plains Economic Region is lower, overall showing higher in the northwest, lower in the southeast, and spatial differences more obvious.(2) The coordinated development degree of the healthy urbanization comprehensive level and healthy urbanization support system shows an increasing trend. By 2012, the coordinated development degree of the healthy urbanization comprehensive level and healthy urbanization support system of the thrust system and pull system are 0.5124 and 0.5428, while the coordinated development degree of the pull system is better. The coordinated development level of the healthy urbanization comprehensive level and healthy urbanization support system of two subsystems is relatively low, at the brink of disorders development period.(3) From 2003 to 2012, the coordinated development level of healthy urbanization in Central Plains Economic Region has improved significantly, the coordinated development degree by the moderate disorder developing into the verge of disorder type;overall the coordinated development level of the healthy urbanization in Central Plains Economic Region is much lower. In 2003, the healthy urbanization coordinated development types of the 30 provincial cities in Central Plains Economic Region are based on disorder type, only Zhengzhou City belonging transitional type, lacking of coordination development type; in 2009, the healthy urbanization coordinated development level of Central Plains Economic Region has improved, the disorder types are based on slightly disorder type, a larger number of transitional areas, Zhengzhou City developing into coordination type. In 2012, the healthy urbanization coordinated development level of Central Plains Economic Region has been further improved, the type of healthy urbanization coordinated development is based on transitional type, Zhengzhou City, Luoyang City, Jiaozuo City, Sanmenxia City, Jiyuan City, Handan City and Jincheng City are being coordination type.(4) The healthy urbanization development of different types areas in Central Plains Economic Region exist different problems, the paper analyzes the healthy urbanization development existing problems of the high quality coordination area, the primary coordination area, the barely coordination area and the verge coordination area, and for the existing question puts forward the corresponding development strategies.The innovation of the paper is proposing the defined connotation of healthy urbanization and studying the dynamic support system-level of healthy urbanization.
