Green is an important guarantee for the sound and rapid development of Hebei province. We must firmly establish the basic concept that beautiful scenery is invaluable, pay more attention to promote the formation of green production and consumption patterns, and strive to build the ecological environment support area of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei." Hebei is a typical province of resources and pollution. Under the background of the Economic new normal that the resources and environment constraints of our country are constantly strengthened, the banking industry in Hebei province should accelerate the development of green credit, which will provide a new impetus for the construction of the beautiful Hebei, the maintenance of ecological and environmental security.Green credit is a kind of innovative financial instruments, which plays a positive role in the constraint of corporate environmental violations, promoting the coordinated development of economic and environmental protection, and also provides a new way to control the credit risk of commercial banks. Green credit has been implemented in our country for nearly ten years, it has also made some achievements in Hebei province, but there are still many problems and deficiencies. This paper begins with the discussion about the origin of green credit, and combines the theoretical basis of green credit with the actual situation of our country, taking the structure of urban economic development and the status of resources as the goal, the paper selected four cities of Handan, Tangshan, Baoding and Shijiazhuang as the research area, separately carries on the investigation to the commercial bank and the enterprise. Finally, based on the research data of the development of green credit, this paper analyzes the problems existing in the implementation of green credit in Hebei Province, and provides practical suggestions and development ideas for the smooth implementation of green credit in Hebei province.
