Since Chinese reform and opening up,Chinese foreign trade has developed rapidly,growing trade surplus,but due to the trade imbalances brought about by the trade friction is also increasing,causing the us-led western countries put pressure on our country constantly,require the RMB exchange rate reform in our country.Beginning on July 21,2005,our country carried out the reform of RMB exchange rate system,exchange rate revaluation,since the exchange rate of the change on our domestic economy have had an impact.Because of a country's exchange rate will directly affect the country's foreign trade,so China's RMB exchange rate change on China's foreign trade produce certain effect.Therefore,China should seize the opportunity of RMB exchange rate changes,combined with the RMB exchange rate changes to promote the upgrading of China's foreign trade structure.This article first elaborated the paper research background and significance,and introduces the exchange rate and international trade related theory,then expounds the evolution process of the RMB exchange rate regime,and from two aspects of trade volume and the trade structure,introduced the development of foreign trade in China,and then according to the data collection of the RMB exchange rate,the annual rate data from 1980 to 2014,using the unit root test,co-integration test,granger causality test,impulse response function and variance decomposition of empirical testing method of the RMB exchange rate change is how to influence China's trade structure upgrade question has carried on the empirical research,and obtained the results,finally based on the results of the empirical test puts forward relevant policy Suggestions to promote the trade structure upgrade in our country.
