Analysis Of Regional Comparative Superiority And It's Risk In Yining County's Corn Planting

Among the world scope, corn is the most extensive and the highest yield per unit area, which has developed into food-feed-multi-purpose crops, and the development potential is great. China's grain acreage is 112.72 million hectares in 2014, which occupied 32.93% of the area sown to grain. Corn's production increased from 177.24 million tons in 2010 to 215.64 million tons in 2014, increased 48.40 million tons, Thus, corn occupies an important position in China's grain crops.Yining County is a large agricultural county. As the corn industry is the leading industry of the county, its corn industry, corn yield level is far above the average of the county and even in Xinjiang. In recent years, Yining County has been insisting on scientific concept of development and basing on the county's resource advantage, marketization the agricultural business, regulating planting structure. Meanwhile, the county is also a large animal husbandry county, along with the development of animal husbandry, accelerating the transformation of the county's resources into the speed of economic advantages, forming the local formation of new corn development ideas and goals. At present, Yining County's corn production scales the best among the Yili region and even in Xinjiang, which has formed a scale advantage.Through collecting and reading a lot of related literatures, this paper uses the methods of comparative analysis, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Based on David Ricardo's comparative advantage theory, Leontief's industry conjunction and Michael Porter's region industry competitiveness theories, combining the theory of domestic corn industry with abroad together. The research take Yining County's corn planting production status, technical status and consumption status as the background, analyze the existing risks in Yining County's corn planting development. Simultaneously, this paper has put forward several new ideas and countermeasures pointedly based on the development experience of our country's corn planting.The research of this paper is conducted to identify the important status of corn planting, providing right direction to the development of Yining County's corn planting, so as to promote the local farmers' income.
