Study On The Competitiveness Of Corn Planting Industry In Hebei

Corn is one of the three largest grain crops in the world.It is the most basic food variety of the residents in our country.The healthy development of the corn industry plays an important role in the development of our agriculture.The extension of the corn industry chain to the first,second,third industry is an important source of the income of the farmers' families,and the stable development of the corn industry is the key to the development of the corn industry.It has an important guiding role to ensure the national food security.As the main grain producing area of China,Hebei province has created favorable conditions for the development of maize industry in Hebei Province,with its rich natural resources,broad market demand and good location factors.Because of the lag and cyclical fluctuation of the corn industry,how to build the dominant industry of Maize in Hebei Province,stabilize the supply of corn and improve the competitiveness of the industry has become an important content of the current research on the development of corn industry.Under the background of the reform of the central supply structure in 2015 and the coordinated integration of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei,the corn industry in Hebei ushered in a historical development opportunity.Using the literature review,comparative analysis and quantitative analysis,this paper analyzes the fluctuation of the five aspects of the maize sown area,production,planting area layout,cost composition and consumption composition in Hebei province from 2007 to 2016,with the aid of Potter's diamond model,in combination with the theory of production efficiency,comparative advantage theory and diamond model theory.The model analysis framework is used to analyze the fluctuation of competitive advantage of Hebei corn industry in Hebei province from the advantages of production factor,demand condition advantage,relative support industry advantage,industrial strategic structure and competitor advantage,opportunity and government advantage,and construct DEA model and select 13 indexes,through calculation.The comprehensive efficiency index of maize industry in Hebei province is compared with other provinces,and the competitiveness ranking of maize industry in Hebei province and the factors that restrict the competitiveness of the maize industry in Hebei province are obtained.Finally,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.The main conclusions of this paper are: first,the overall development of Hebei corn industry is stable,but the lack of professional brand effect and product deep processing ability,it is necessary to build special corn brand and improve the technological innovation ability to speed up the transformation and upgrading of the maize industry in Hebei province.Second,Hebei Province,in the formulation of industrial strategy,should start from multiple perspectives,increase financial support for related supporting industries,such as breeding enterprises,chemical fertilizer enterprises,and so on,to ensure the transformation of corn industry from quantity to quality promotion in Hebei province.Third,the corn industry in Hebei province has a certain degree of technological retreat,and the other provinces such as scale efficiency,production efficiency and other provinces are relatively small,so technical progress is the key to restrict the competitiveness of Hebei corn industry.The Hebei provincial government should pay more attention to the training of talents.Fourth,the development of the maize industry in Hebei can not be driven by the leading enterprises and the agricultural industrialization organization,and actively strengthen the combination of the multi principal interests and realize the innovation of the model of "enterprise + base + farmers".The possible innovation of this paper is that the research ideas are relatively new.In the current research literature of Hebei corn industry,most of the research directions are single.At present,the research on the competitiveness of Hebei corn industry has not yet formed a systematic theoretical framework,and in Hebei Province as the main body,the competitiveness of maize industry among provinces is relatively less.This paper,in view of the competitiveness of the maize industry in Hebei Province,combines the qualitative and quantitative analysis,and uses an improved diamond model to form a systematized system.The theoretical framework,at the same time to quantify the competitiveness,specific comparative analysis of the competitiveness of Hebei and other provinces and other provinces,the actual gap between the competitiveness of corn industry,rich Hebei corn related research.
