Study On The Building The Cooperating Mechanism Of Quality And Safety Of Agricultural Products For SCO

Given that the resources of land, climate, water and economic standard are different,the characteristics of agriculture of members among the Shanghai Cooperation Organization are also various to one another. Meanwhile, the different ways of planting or breeding,which caused pesticide residues and exceeding hormones standard has also brought hazards to our health. Although currently the food supply is sufficient for our daily need, the high-level of quality standard of food has been a main target for the people healthy diet. Numerous quality issues have warned countries of Shanghai Cooperation Organization and those also negatively affected the bilateral economic trade in the field of agriculture products. Thus the quality and safety issues of agriculture products has not only concerned the mentally and physical of people, but also affecting the national image and competitiveness for regional countries of Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which has indicated that building the Cooperating Mechanism of Quality and Safety of Agricultural Products become imperative.This paper has first analyzed the status of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization of agricultural products trade, mainly analyzing the status and structure of the agricultural products trade as well as existing problems. Secondly, this paper has analyzing the status of the quality and safety cooperation mechanism of agricultural products in Shanghai Cooperation Organization, discussing the theory of mechanism and the existing organization within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization as well as the current problems. At last, this paper used empirical analysis to prove the influence of quality and safety of agricultural products trade for Shanghai Cooperation Organization, in which two typical cases have been quoted and one of them has been empirically analyzed. Then the paper draws lessons from the experience of regional integration organization of agricultural products quality and safety cooperation mechanism, mainly for the EU and ASEAN. The main content of building cooperating mechanism of quality and safety of agricultural products for shanghai cooperation organization would be released later in the last part and the conclusion has also been drawn in the end.
