Survey On The Farmers Attending Science And Technology Training In Toli County Of Xinjiang

Farmers are the service agents that need training with regard to agricultural supply. This is why the government needs to understand the farmers' willingness and demand for training, strengthen the technology and shared-knowledge infrastructure, and extend encouragement to farmers to participate in the government-organized technology training sessions.Through analyzing field research, this paper aims to document how farmers participate in technical training and their expectations and look at the farmers' degree of willingness to participate in science and technology training. The farmers' science and technology training data was accumulated in Toli County. Distinguishing attributes of the sampled farmers considered in the research include: physiological factors, cultural factors, economic factors, training, psychological factors,cognitive factors, and objective external factors. The objective external factors were namely the training provided by the government, which included certain training content, training methods, training time, training of teachers, training institutions, etc. The factors which influenced peasants' willingness to participate again was analyzed by Binary Logistic Regression Mode and Chi-Square test method. It showed that having training experience with regard to farmer's willingness to participate was based mainly on whether there has been training help and the influence of three variables on individual farming income and curiosity. Farmers who have not experienced training before are willing to participate in science and technology were influenced by these factors: the village cadres and party members, whether they are engaged in farming activities, and a third variable, age, a fourth variable, leadership.Through the analysis of the willingness of farmers in Xinjiang's Toli County to participate in science and technology training,we can combine human capital and instrumental rationality to conclude a few things.First, there are training experience willingness to the participation of farmers is higher than the group without training experience and culture intention.Second, regardless of training experience, psychological factors and economic factors were confirmed to have significant impact on training will.Third, the government provides helpful to provide training and applicability can overcome peasants own physiological factors and cultural factors to intend to its limit, to improve the enthusiasm of farmers to participate in.Fourth, aged between 25 and 55 years old, is a party member or a fixed number of year of the village cadres, the education in more than six years, planting area of 20 hectares, engaged in agricultural machinery operation, breeding, planting fruit and vegetable, Leadership and curiosity score 2 points or more, a sense of ambition score 3 points or more farmers groups all have higher and culture intention. Government can be targeted to arrange training to meet the training of farmers is expected. Objective external factors(training) provided by the government and farmers corresponds to the individual factors is the key to boost their farmers to participate in the training.In conclusion, this paper established a venue for communication and separated results into two categories, giving practical recommendations.
