Due to there are no operational guidelines and standards to guide the formulation of the price index of construction and installation cost of domestic expressway engineering at present, and the complexity of the calculation model to calculate the price index of construction and installation cost of expressway engineering and the collection work of information related to the previous price, this leads that there is few information nets about the engineering cost in the provinces and cities can compile and publish this index.The purpose of this study is to build a scientific and convenient highway project installation cost price index calculation model, Enhance the accuracy and operability of the index compiled, and provide a solid basis for the preparation of cost management department to release index.The specific research is carried out as follows :First of all, based on the research and analysis on the establishment method and calculation model of the price index of construction and installation cost at present, put forward the three elements of equalization of the precision of the calculation results, the cost and the time consumption of the information collection of the price as the basic principles of this paper to prepare the price index of construction and installation cost of expressway engineering.Second, carry out the research about labor, materials and machinery these three individual components of the price index of the main determining research.Establish the equilibrium model on the basis of the production function about the information collection of price and calculate the marginal benefit of data collection of the price by combining with the basic theory of Glass production function and the Yerkes-Dodson Law in microeconomics, finally determine which information should be collected to calculate the individual price index.Again, with the highest precision of the calculation results, the lowest cost and the least time consumption of the information collection of the price as balanced target, built the model of construction and installation costs price index calculation methods multi-objective optimization.Calculated by the model, established the model recommended by the highway engineering construction and installation costs of the price index.Finally, the calculation model to calculate the price index of construction and installation cost of expressway engineering in this paper is verified, and found that the theoretical value which is calculated by the model in this paper is similar with the actual cost of the price change trend, and can effectively simplify the collection work of information related to the previous price.
