Evaluation And Promotion On Core Competence Of CPT Technology Co. Ltd

China is in the process of speeding up the industrialization, manufacturing is an important pillar of the national economy and foundation. New LCD flat panel display industry has become China's most important 3C industry, and has been included in the ten major restructuring and revitalization of the industry as well as key emerging strategic industries by the Chinese government. The TFT-LCD manufacturers as the core part of TFT-LCD industry, experienced a very complex industrial upgrading and competitive changes. Until today, TFT-LCD industry is still experiencing the stage of rapid development.Combined with the specific management experience and the characteristics of TFT-LCD industry, the core competence evaluation index system of TFT-LCD industry enterprise in this paper is presented in reference to domestic and international core competence theory and evaluation method, and a large number of relevant core competence evaluation index system research and literatures, especially based on the evaluation index system of core competence of manufacturing enterprises research study. The index system reflects the key factors of the core competence of TFT-LCD industry, by following six aspects:the ability of the human resources and management, technical innovation, production and manufacturing, enterprise development, enterprise marketing and enterprise culture. Based on this index system, this paper combines AHP and FCE method to construct the evaluation model of the core competence of TFT-LCD industry enterprises. The analysis and evaluation on core competence of CPT and other competitors found that technical innovation ability of CPT is in general level, and other various abilities were in a lower level. Therefore, to ensure the sustainable competitive advantage, CPT should put forward to technological innovation as the core, to intelligent manufacturing as the basis, to human capital as the support, to excellent quality as the guarantee, to enterprise culture as the soul, through competitive power promotion strategy and actions, in order to enhance the core competence, based on internal and external environment,and status of main factors of core competence of CPT.The conclusion can be a reference for the cultivation and upgrading of the core competence of Chinese TFT-LCD enterprises in the upgrading and transformation development. At the same time, it can provide the theoretical research and practical reference value for the implementation of the 2025 strategy in the specific industry in the context of the global promotion of the competitiveness of manufacturing industry.
